From highly produced spoken word laced with synthetic vibrations to pure neo-classical piano solos DotSPF has time and time again set the standard that many others have attempted to follow.
The mind behind DotSPF is Andy Bellenie, who works from a home studio in England, with a influences ranging from Coldplay through Moby and Groove Armada to the Future Sounds of London and DJ Shadow.
From the dark and moody ambience of "Dreaming Louise," to the uplifting vocals in "Egyptian Skunk," you'll find yourself humming the melodies long after a DotSPF track has finished. Each and every track has a strong emotional feel - and each and every track provides a different view on the artist. His musical style is both unique and recognizable while remaining varied and complex; making the music he produces not only a true joy to hear but also an experience that often leaves one in awe.
"Dreaming Louise," contains vocals performed by Louise Durrup.
"Crying in Moonlight," is based around Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14 (The Moonlight Sonata) and contains genuine answerphone messages received by Andy during a painful summer.
The spoken poetry in "Midnight Psyche," was written and performed by David Christopher.
"Streetwalker," is a reworking of "Distoring Deep Mud" by DJ CeeRo
